Bhorajguda - II phase

Borajguda village comes under Tejapur Grama Panchayat of Indervelly Mandal in Adilabad district. This village is located at upstream side portion of the hillock. The village is rocky area. Two bore wells are there in the village – one bore well works up to 8 months, second bore well was totally failed. Recently an oorani is excavated in this village for drinking water.

Status of Drinking Water in the Village

The recently created oorani needs protection from entry of animals. There is no proper structure for going surplus water from the oorani to outside. Construction of surplus weir will solve this problem. Biosand filter is needed for filtering the oorani water.

Way Forward and Expected Benefits
