Recharging the Aquifer

There can be hardly any doubt that water in dry areas benefits farming tremendously. The experience from programme showed that water harvesting should be made more effective. Catchment area treatment, drainage line treatment, rehabilitation of the water harvesting structures are needed so that all the rain water is captured within each watershed boundary.
