DHAN Foundation believes in building its work around individuals. There are five levels of nurturing young professionals who enter the institution.
1. Explorers - "Development Associates" - 3 months
Associateship provides them an opportunity to asses the opportunities and constraints of a life in grassroots work, alternative career, responsibilities towards and expectations of family and friends, the conditions of living, the broad content and pace of work in a village.
2. Learners - "Development Apprentices" - 1 year
This phase is aimed at providing opportunities for exploring themselves resulting in clarity of their life mission, concretizing values and consciously striving to bring changes in their pursuits.
3. Contributors - "Project Executives " - 3-5 years
Project Executives are expected to play various important roles in order to respond to the needs of the people, programme and organisation and of the outside institutions with whom they relate.
4. Team Leaders - 5-10 years
It is an opportunity to build the vision of the organisation and play a significant role in shaping the organisation and its future.
5. Strategic Leaders - "Programme Leaders"
Opportunity to contribute for the policy advocacy efforts of the organisation, and build very good relationships with development leaders, business leaders and top officials.
