The film shows the plight of peoples’ agitation against the establishment of a thermal power plant. It clearly depicts the contamination of the prosperous agriculturally rich land and other natural resources are contaminated. The location is one of the hot spots of biodiversity declared by UNESCO including Maharaja’s palace is becoming a victim of acid rain like Taj Mahal due to fly-ash and pollutants of factories and thermal power plant in the name of development. Development of the capital cities is done at the cost of fertile land stretch and village ecosystem. People fight to retain their lands and say “We will die but will not leave the lifeline”. The film ends with the voice to join the movement to save the land, Chamalapura.
