Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)

CIDA is Canada's lead agency for development assistance. International Development Research Centre (IDRC)

The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) supports research in developing countries to promote growth and development. IDRC works with researchers and innovators in those countries to find practical, long-term solutions to the social, economic, and environmental problems their societies face.

Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF)

In 2009, IDRC and Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) have jointly created the Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF). The CIFSRF is a 5-year, CA$62-million fund that will support research partnerships between Canadian and developing-country research organizations to carry out applied research to find lasting solutions to fight hunger and food insecurity in the developing world.
