Entitlements in Emergency

During May Month, DHAN has facilitated 54,943 families to avail the benefits of Jan Dhan scheme, 10,830 families towards Ujwala scheme, 19,894 families towards Kisan Yojana scheme, and 72,423 families to avail free ration as well as Rs.1000 from the respective state government. In addition, employment opportunities were facilitated through MGNREGA for 21,807 families and generated more than 1,77,978 man-days, 2,945 fishermen families have availed relief packages. Moreover, the institution has outreached 8,176 members through the DHAN’s Health wellness centre.

Adilabad

Entitlements were majorly focused to the economically backward families in Adilabad district of Telangana state. Through central and state entitlements/schemes 20,000 members who are associated with DHAN Foundation have availed Rs. 570.99 lakhs. Livelihood security was facilitated to 12,683 families through MGNREGA works by creating 1,41,324 man days and also generating an income of Rs. 334.36 lakhs altogether in the Adilabad region for May month.

Aurangabad

In total 1253 families have been facilitated to avail the Jan Dhan Scheme, 898 families have availed Ujwala Scheme, 1978 families have got benefitted through Kisan Pension in Aurangabad region, in the state of Maharashtra. 411 families made use of DHAN’s Health Wellness Centres in the region.

Beed

The team has facilitated 5076 families to avail the Jan Dhan Scheme, 3333 families have utilized Ujwala Scheme, 2788 families got employed through MGNREGA and 1742 families to get benefitted through Kisan Pension in Beed of Maharashtra.

Balasore

The team has facilitated 12000 families to avail the Jan Dhan scheme and 20,000 families to get benefitted through government free ration scheme across all its working blocks in Balasore of Odisha

Gundar

The Vayalagam families were employed through MGNREGA and created 4438 man by renovating 25 water bodies resulting Rs. 11.36 lakhs as income. 748 families have availed Jan Dhan scheme amounting to Rs. 3.74 lakhs and 54 families have utilized Ujwala scheme amounting to Rs. 0.429 lakhs across all its working location in Gundar region of Tamil Nadu.


Munger

Livelihood support through MGNREGA works was ensured to the families belonging to Munger region. A total of 26,720 man days have been created through renovation works of four ponds, nine pynes and three bridge culverts generating an income of Rs. 58,55,281 across all the four locations in Munger region.

Mysore

The team has ensured 3174 families to avail Jan Dhan benefitting Rs. 15,87,000, ensured the ration worth Rs. 1,06,48,800 from Food and Revenue department to its 17748 families, ensured state government’s covid-19 relief package worth Rs. 3,80,800 to its 1088 families, ensured food and ration worth Rs. 1,55,000 from Labor department for 87 families and facilitated the contributions worth Rs. 1,00,000 from Lotus Indane Gas Agency to reach 100 of its families.

Nagapattinam

The institution has facilitated 10595 families to get benefitted by State’s entitlement of Rs. 1000 and free ration, ensured its 3228 families to get benefitted through Jan Dhan scheme, facilitated 1215 families towards PM Kisan Yojana, 1179 fishermen to get benefitted through Fishermen welfare scheme and ensured its 798 fishermen families to get benefitted through Fishing Ban Compensation.

Nanded

The institution has facilitated 5460 families to get benefitted through Jan Dhan Scheme, 3379 families to get benefitted through Ujwala scheme, 6344 families to get benefitted through Kisan Pension scheme and 4059 families to make use of DHAN’s health wellness centre.

Pambar

Livelihood support was provided to 3521 families through MGNREGA works and also identified 139 families to apply for their job cards across the Pambar region of Tamil Nadu state. The institution has facilitated 13952 families to avail the state governments’ free ration and Rs. 1000. Moreover 2312 families have been facilitated to avail Jan Dhan scheme, 5374 families towards Kisan Yojana scheme and 1665 towards Ujwala scheme.

Pudukottai

The institution has facilitated 1105 families to avail the relief package of free ration and Rs. 1000 from the state Government, facilitated 139 families towards Jan Dhan scheme, 135 towards Kisan Yojana scheme across the Pudukottai region of Tamil Nadu state. In addition, 418 fishermen families in the region received fishing-holiday allowance as well from fishermen welfare board to the tune of Rs. 20.92 lakhs and Rs. 4.18 lakhs respectively.

Ramnad

The regional team has facilitated 1194 families to get involved in MGRENGA works and created employment in the middle of prevailing chaos due to the pandemic.

Solapur and Osmanabad

The institution has supported 5023 families to avail the benefits of Jan Dhan scheme, 1401 families towards Ujwala scheme, 3106 towards Kisan Yojana scheme across the Solapur and Osmanabad region, in the state of Maharashtra. Employment opportunity was provided for 610 families by engaging them in MGNREGA works. In addition, 3706 members made use of DHAN’s Health Wellness centre in the region.

Tirupur

The regional team has facilitated 7848 Kalanjiam families to avail the governments’ entitlements like free ration and Rs. 1000, 4112 families got benefitted through Jan Dhan scheme (Rs. 20.56 lakhs) across the Tirupur region. Employment opportunity was facilitated to 351 families through MGNREGA.

Tuticorin

Employment opportunities was created to the Vayalagam families by creating 5496 man days of renovation works across 48 water bodies ensuring an income of Rs. 11.10 lakhs.

Visakhapatnam

The institution ¬has facilitated 12418 families to avail the benefits of Jan Dhan scheme in Visakhapatnam region. Besides, 2071 SHGs have got benefitted through interest reimbursement valued Rs. 66.29 lakhs from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Out of 2500 fishermen families associated with DHAN Foundation, 550 families have received Rs. 10,000 as holiday allowance from the government.

Warangal

The Warangal team has created livelihood to its members by engaging them in MGNREGA works - three watershed mini percolation tanks, one dug out pond and one farm pond – creating a livelihood for 50 members, generating an income of Rs. 80,000 in Gambhiraopet location, Warangal region of Telangana. In addition, livelihood loan cheque of Rs. 18,000 to six beneficiaries was distributed in the location.
