On 17th February 2020, Kanchipuram region of DHAN Foundation has organized an one-day workshop on ‘Comprehensive Health Insurance Schemes,’ in Medavakkam, Kanchipuram. 55 Self Help Group leaders have participated in the workshop. Building awareness about PM Health Insurance Scheme (PMJAY) and Tamil Nadu CM health insurance schemes (CMCHIS) was the focus. Mr. R. Manikandan, District Programme Officer of CM Health Insurance Schemes detailed about scheme’s highlights, eligibility, enrollment procedure and beneficiary experience sharing. The outcomes of the workshop were conducting a survey among Kalanjiam members to track the status of PMJAY and CMCHIS schemes enrolment and also to organize an enrolment camp for all the Kalanjiam members with the collaboration of District Programme Officer (DPO)
