Sengulam and Puthur watershed development project has been funded by the NABARD successfully for the past three years. On 10th July 2020, DHAN Foundation, Panchayat administration and NABARD officials jointly celebrated NABARD Foundation Day ensuring all the safety measures. Mr. P. S. Harikrishna Raj, AGM of NABARD emphasized about the various available schemes and briefed the progress of the on-going watershed projects.
NABARD AGM has distributed tree saplings to the members of Muruganeri, Sengulam and Thathankulam. Three Agricultural Finance Groups in Muruganeri have been sanctioned loans through NABARD funding. DHAN Foundation personnel have distributed masks for the participants during the celebrations.
