Review and Appraisal of Associateship

On completion of 12 weeks, an appraisal of all the DAs will be conducted by a designated committee. For this purpose, a meeting is held of all the DAs with the members of the appraisal committee where the DAs present their experience and respond to each others presentations. This meeting is one of the inputs to the appraisal process. Other inputs are periodic reports; a confidential assessment by the Field Guide and the "my role essay".

Suitability of Development Associates to join DHAN will be assessed along with the dimensions discussed earlier. There are three possible outcomes of this appraisal.

1. Development Associates will be found suitable to join DHAN Apprenticeship Programme

2. Development Associates will not be found suitable; and

3. The DAship will be assessed as inadequate and repetition will be recommended, with modification.
